And this novella packs all of that, and so much more. I absolutely loved it!It's June's wedding day, until she finds out her fiancé is cheating on her... with his best man. Understandably, she walks out, and tries to find solace in drinking at a local bar, still in her wedding dress. Ryan just finished his second game at the NFL and it didn't go that well, so he's going to drown his sorrows at the same bar, until he sees a princess in a very frilly wedding dress sitting at his usual spot. They start talking, one thing leads to another, and they spend the night together. Let me tell you, Melissa knows how to write good sex, and I may have needed a quick cold shower after this.Within just a few pages, I managed to fall in love with both of them. When the night is over, June walks out and Ryan is left wanting more... so... what happens now? Will they find each other again? And what will happen when they do?This is the prequel to Melissa's Tight End, which is coming next year, and I'm so looking forward to it I may resort to begging Melissa to release it sooner. Pretty please? Would bribing work?Tight End is up for pre-order now, and I don't think you'll want to miss it.

Review for 'Melissa Ivers, Loose End' A fantastic start to what looks likely to be an amazing football romance. June's world comes crashing down leaving her drowning her sorrows. I'm an author in the set, so I'm a bit partial. BUT... I have to say this. Sometimes collections have a few great stories and a few that could have used another round of editing. Let's Play is in a whole 'nother ball game. Every story in this collection is a phenomenal treat!!! Each story has all the feels, the right amount of steam and the sports romance tropes that I love. Dressed in a poofy wedding dress while nursing a drink and a broken heart, she doesn’t expect anyone to notice her. So when a ridiculously attractive man sits next to her and offers to show her a good time, she knows she should refuse. But there’s a part of her that wants to say yes… so she does. Okay, so first of all… I know it’s a novella, but man, what a tease!!! June reminds me of myself in a lot of ways, which was nice as it’s always great to feel connected to the characters. Ryan. Damn, was he something else!!! I really loved how he put his own needs aside to give June what he thought she deserved. I can’t wait to see their story continued in “Tight End,” releasing in 2022!!!LOVE IN THE END ZONE (Maci Dillon) - FIVE STARSEli Magik is the star quarterback, and he’s always dreamed of going pro. But when he falls for Paris, the coach’s daughter, all of that flies out the window. All the players know the golden rule - don’t mess with the coach’s daughter, or risk losing your spot on the team - but he can’t seem to stop going down this path. Somehow, he knows Paris is it for him, and he’s willing to pull out all the stops to keep her. Oh my gosh, yes. This story was absolutely fantastic!!! It was a short little novella, but that didn’t take away from how wonderful it was. I loved how Eli wasn’t afraid to go after what he wanted, and how he was willing to stand up to his coach and risk it all for the girl he loved. And Paris, I loved how she wasn’t a dainty little wallflower. She had her own mind and was willing to fight for Eli just as much as he fought for her. I completely recommend!!!

Now, Ivers has expanded her world with a prequel novella as part of a limited-edition anthology series, Let’s Play, due out on November 13th.In Loose End, Ivers introduces us to the Nashville Aces, a football team that exists within the same universe as the Devils hockey team. This is a steamy teaser to lead in to the first book in the football series, Tight End.Unfortunately for readers like me (read: obssessed), we will have to wait for quite some time for Tight End to make it into our hands when it releases in August of 2022.That being said, Loose End was just long enough to be appropriate for an anthology but just short enough to be not nearly enough as to leave a reader completely satisfied – cliffhangers and I do NOT mix!Not that I didn’t enjoy meeting June and Ryan, but this bitch needs more, and I am going to be VERY frustrated waiting until August to find out how this story progresses.Ivers to me appears to be the queen of hooking a reader in from the first paragraph, and this remains true with Loose End.June’s intro is cringeworthy but compelling, and the situation she finds herself in begs the reader to invest in finding out how June will handle it, and exactly when she will get her Happily Ever After.Ryan’s meet cute with June leaves us a bit skeptical as to how he could possibly be one of Ivers’ well-rounded alpha heroes, and yet by the end of this prequel novella, you’re already half in love with the big lug.I have no idea about any of the other stories within the Let’s Play anthology, which features a total of 15 authors including Ivers, but if she’s featured, it’s an immediate must-buy for me.

Review for Love In The End Zone by Maci DillonThis short novella was amazing, steamy, sensational. Once you start reading you will not want to stop until the end. The Chemistry between Magik and Paris burns off of the pages. If you love Sports Romance as much as I do, then get your copy and be mesmerized. What will happen with Magik and Paris? I cannot wait for you to find out. I’m so excited and cannot wait to read the other Stories in the Anthology. I cannot recommend Love In The End Zone enou Review for Love In The End Zone by Maci DillonThis short novella was amazing, steamy, sensational. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. Love in the end zone was a fantastic short read . I'm not one for sports romance but this one had me glued to my seat . Majic and Paris were definitely meant to be and regardless of the obstacles put in their way by Paris over bearing father who just so happens to be Majics football Coach, they found their happily ever after . Great characters strongly written really enjoyed this story by Maci Dillon. Love in the end zone was a fantastic short read . I'm not one for sports romance but this one had me glued to my seat .
