Love, hate, annoyance, angst, shock, laughter, joy, sadness and of course it will definitely get you all hot and bothered. Colton and Rylee give you moments that you love them so much it hurts and then gives you moments that you just flat out want to hurt them. This is not your normal fairy tale - this entire series is a push and pull of two people who are completely and utterly drawn to each other, but are fighting so much baggage. Definitely Colton, man it breaks my heart what his character goes through, but there were so many times I wanted to throttle the shit out of that man, before taking him to bed. The side characters are incredible. From Beck to all the boys at The House. And the ending, man it has everything you want to give you butterflies in your stomach. I will say, we could have definitely done with a little less internal monologue and turmoil. But if that happened I would probably be upset that they just move on from shit. Here I go again, proving that I'm impossible to please. I have been contemplating re-reading this for a while because of its length. But after week off of anything books since I was in such a book funk and it was a good series to bring me back to the world I love and adore so much. Actually let me clarify, I only technically read the last 2 books because I watched the Passionflix Driven Series first. So while the series left out a lot of the book, I remembered most of it and could easily pick up book 2 when I finished the show.

Together they're an explosive couple.. I mean you could see sparks flying whenever they were together.. their interactions were beautifully written full of passion, love, friendship, companionship, a little sass and heartbreak even.. There were parts of this series that were really hard to read as I listened to the playlist because its like the author played out some situations out of my life and placed the in this series with the same exact songs.. there were moments where I had to stop reading because of the tears that were running on my face.. hell I even ate chocolate while reading.. but it worked so well while I was reading.. 2.5 starsI don't know from where to start.I read the whole series except Aced. It could've been better if Mrs. Bromberg didn't prolong it that much. If she didn't repeat same sentences and feelings over and over. All 4 books edged on the border of boring... How many times Rylee couldn't breathe or talk or there is lump in her throat or words strangled in there or tears clogging it? Basically all the time. . Like how many deep places are inside Rylee or Colton that the words reached and unlocked.

Chapter 41, Crashed :" I think a little part of me dies in that instant. A tiny part forever lost".Colton keeps complaining about the things he has allowed others to do to him "No one knows the things I didâÂÂthe things I allowed to be done to me. The poison living inside. How I loved and hated and did unimaginable things for reasons I didnâÂÂt understand at the time and still donâÂÂt understand now" . It's really boring and getting on my nerves cause this shit keeps repeating all over the book. I just want to tell him OMG man...again?! am bored of those things u keep whining about since the beginningof the book. . just spit it out man.And there is when they fought because Rylee thought that he slept with Tawney . It was the most awful part in the book. With Colton denying then not then denying then not then saying he did sleep with T then not (Arggggh). And with Rylee stupidly analyzing every thing about it. For example in chapter 36, Fueled : "My world spirals in black, looping with confusion that just became quite clear. ItâÂÂs the first time that he hasnâÂÂt denied sleeping with her. He didnâÂÂt confessâÂÂI didnâÂÂt hear the words come from his mouthâÂÂbut he didnâÂÂt deny it either."Really? Really?. .. .are she crazy or somthing??. (mouth open) the auther wants to prolong this book on the expense of our minds .. unbelievable. . He's telling her that if she keeps accusing him he might as well do it and she goes thinking he didn't deny it so he certainly did it..!!! this is unbelievably INSANE conversation. . it's obvious that the author has run out of ideas to how brolong the fight so she came up with this nonsense. . keep reading the next pages aftet this conversation and you'll understand my point.. It's very weak and shallow . No need to waste many chapters on it. .and just for this alone am giving a one star rating.Mrs Bromberg also describes alot.. more than necessary and more than it's needed . so I got lost most of the time.. reread the paragraph time and time again in order to understand the feelings of the characters.There are many editing mistakes. . For example, when you compare the conversations in "Raced book" to those in the matching chapters in the other books you'll find differences, specially in chapter 14, Raced. I can give you examples if you want. Am sure that other readers noticed that too. Also there are mistakes in many scenes like releasing hands when they are not being holded or digging toes in cool sand then it's warm sand the next page...etc,,and Let's not mention the spelling or grammer mistakes.For example, in chapter 12, Fueled : "that night terrors are such a regular visitor in this house that ShaneâÂÂs no longer phased by them" ..Auther should use "fased by" instead of "phased by". Fazedàis often confused with phased, which means "carried out in stages." The verb faze, or "disturb," is at the root ofàfazed, which comes from Kentish dialect â feeze means "frighten, alarm, or discomfit."The auther keeps using the word "unrequited" but I doubt she understands its meaning. Like what the hell does she mean by unrequited desire or craving hunger...etc ?!! Look at this from chapter 15, Fueled : "The dark promise of his words has my entire body thrumming with an unrequited desire and my pussy pulsing in anticipation." or this from chapter 16, Driven: "the car crackling with the unrequited sexual tension between us." Unrequited means (of a feeling, especially love) not returned so it doesn't make sense here.Another example in chapter 15, Fueled : "Something flashes through his eyes which I akin to fear, but I know thatâÂÂs not possible." IS THIS ENGLISH!!?akin is supposed to be an adjective which means (of similar character). It's not a verb, so the sentence should be: "which is akin to fear" not " which I akin to fear".Chapter 12, Raced : "A shiver of recourse revolts through my body". Can any one tell me what " shiver of recourse" is? Also whats the meaning of "ZanderâÂÂs deposition" in chapter 14, Crashed?"I might as well say my peace." Chapter 5, Driven. It should be say my "piece" not "peace"! There are lots of mistakes that I have no time to mention here and It's really annoying.Also this story reminds me alot of Fifty Shades series. Specially with Colton and Christian from Fifty shades having similar f**ked up pasts. Both had addicted whore mothers and abusing whore men , both suffered from nightmares and have problems with others touching them in certain ways and places. Both think that they aren't capable of love or deserving it. When Rylee ask colton "who did this to you?" ( chapter 17, Driven) ,It reminds me of the same question Anna asked Christian in Fifty shades. Both Rylee and Anna from Fifty shades keep telling the Heroes that they are worthy of love. Anyways, I like novels that are strongly built and full of new and important events and suspense among it. Not to just leave every thing to be aolved at the end of the book.

I stumbled upon this series by chance, and boy am I beyond happy I did. Emotionally gripping, the Driven Series will leave you breathless and begging for more of this amazing duo. Rylie is amazing; her heart and spirit leave me in awe. Colton is the quintessential alpha male that will weaken you knees and melt your heart, all while infuriating you with his snark. A series I will read and recommend over and over again!

First I will say, the length of this book gives you mixed emotions.. One minute I'm like...Then the next I'm like...This series evokes so many emotions. Love, hate, annoyance, angst, shock, laughter, joy, sadness and of course it will definitely get you all hot and bothered. Colton and Rylee give you moments that you love them so much it hurts and then gives you moments that you just flat out want to hurt them. This is not your normal fairy tale - this entire series is a push and pull of two people who are completely and utterly drawn to each other, but are fighting so much baggage. Definitely Colton, man it breaks my heart what his character goes through, but there were so many times I wanted to throttle the shit out of that man, before taking him to bed. The side characters are incredible. From Beck to all the boys at The House. And the ending, man it has everything you want to give you butterflies in your stomach. I will say, we could have definitely done with a little less internal monologue and turmoil. But if that happened I would probably be upset that they just move on from shit. Here I go again, proving that I'm impossible to please. I have been contemplating re-reading this for a while because of its length. But after week off of anything books since I was in such a book funk and it was a good series to bring me back to the world I love and adore so much. Actually let me clarify, I only technically read the last 2 books because I watched the Passionflix Driven Series first. So while the series left out a lot of the book, I remembered most of it and could easily pick up book 2 when I finished the show.

This is not your typical story where everything runs smoothly.. nope there will be a lot of laps, pit stops, crashes and engine malfunctions (see what I did there?).Colton is the typical cocky, arrogant, self I race this series so hard!!! you have no idea!! This is not your typical story where everything runs smoothly.. nope there will be a lot of laps, pit stops, crashes and engine malfunctions (see what I did there?).Colton is the typical cocky, arrogant, self center dude everyone loves to hate.. but what we didn't know was what was hidden behind that facade.. we realize that underneath all of that there's a very broken man that craves to be loved more than anything.. you will feel so hard for him that you might want to squeeze your reader device just to hug him.. and the way he treats Rylee is just amazing let me tell you...Rylee is not your typical naive heroine.. she is strong, independent and doesn't take bullshit from anyone.. which is why I fell so in love with her! it was love at the first page! just like Colton she suffered an irreplaceable lost and tried to survive by surrounding herself with work, her best friend and her boys as she called them.. Together they're an explosive couple.. I mean you could see sparks flying whenever they were together.. their interactions were beautifully written full of passion, love, friendship, companionship, a little sass and heartbreak even.. There were parts of this series that were really hard to read as I listened to the playlist because its like the author played out some situations out of my life and placed the in this series with the same exact songs.. there were moments where I had to stop reading because of the tears that were running on my face.. hell I even ate chocolate while reading.. but it worked so well while I was reading.. I'm really grateful that I read it and Its a story that will stay with me forever #ColtonandRylee #Laps #checkeredflags

2.5 starsI don't know from where to start.I read the whole series except Aced. It could've been better if Mrs. Bromberg didn't prolong it that much. If she didn't repeat same sentences and feelings over and over. All 4 books edged on the border of boring... How many times Rylee couldn't breathe or talk or there is lump in her throat or words strangled in there or tears clogging it? Basically all the time. . Chapter 41, Crashed :" I think a little part of me dies in that instant. A tiny part forever lost".Colton keeps complaining about the things he has allowed others to do to him "No one knows the things I didâÂÂthe things I allowed to be done to me. The poison living inside. How I loved and hated and did unimaginable things for reasons I didnâÂÂt understand at the time and still donâÂÂt understand now" . It's really boring and getting on my nerves cause this shit keeps repeating all over the book. I just want to tell him OMG man...again?! am bored of those things u keep whining about since the beginningof the book. . just spit it out man.And there is when they fought because Rylee thought that he slept with Tawney . It was the most awful part in the book. With Colton denying then not then denying then not then saying he did sleep with T then not (Arggggh). And with Rylee stupidly analyzing every thing about it. For example in chapter 36, Fueled : "My world spirals in black, looping with confusion that just became quite clear. ItâÂÂs the first time that he hasnâÂÂt denied sleeping with her. He didnâÂÂt confessâÂÂI didnâÂÂt hear the words come from his mouthâÂÂbut he didnâÂÂt deny it either."Really? Really?. .. .are she crazy or somthing??. (mouth open) the auther wants to prolong this book on the expense of our minds .. unbelievable. . He's telling her that if she keeps accusing him he might as well do it and she goes thinking he didn't deny it so he certainly did it..!!! this is unbelievably INSANE conversation. . it's obvious that the author has run out of ideas to how brolong the fight so she came up with this nonsense. . keep reading the next pages aftet this conversation and you'll understand my point.. It's very weak and shallow . No need to waste many chapters on it. .and just for this alone am giving a one star rating.Mrs Bromberg also describes alot.. more than necessary and more than it's needed . so I got lost most of the time.. reread the paragraph time and time again in order to understand the feelings of the characters.There are many editing mistakes. . For example, when you compare the conversations in "Raced book" to those in the matching chapters in the other books you'll find differences, specially in chapter 14, Raced. I can give you examples if you want. Am sure that other readers noticed that too. Also there are mistakes in many scenes like releasing hands when they are not being holded or digging toes in cool sand then it's warm sand the next page...etc,,and Let's not mention the spelling or grammer mistakes.For example, in chapter 12, Fueled : "that night terrors are such a regular visitor in this house that ShaneâÂÂs no longer phased by them" ..Auther should use "fased by" instead of "phased by". Fazedàis often confused with phased, which means "carried out in stages." The verb faze, or "disturb," is at the root ofàfazed, which comes from Kentish dialect â feeze means "frighten, alarm, or discomfit."The auther keeps using the word "unrequited" but I doubt she understands its meaning. Like what the hell does she mean by unrequited desire or craving hunger...etc ?!! Look at this from chapter 15, Fueled : "The dark promise of his words has my entire body thrumming with an unrequited desire and my pussy pulsing in anticipation." or this from chapter 16, Driven: "the car crackling with the unrequited sexual tension between us." Unrequited means (of a feeling, especially love) not returned so it doesn't make sense here.Another example in chapter 15, Fueled : "Something flashes through his eyes which I akin to fear, but I know thatâÂÂs not possible." IS THIS ENGLISH!!?akin is supposed to be an adjective which means (of similar character). It's not a verb, so the sentence should be: "which is akin to fear" not " which I akin to fear".Chapter 12, Raced : "A shiver of recourse revolts through my body". Can any one tell me what " shiver of recourse" is? Also whats the meaning of "ZanderâÂÂs deposition" in chapter 14, Crashed?"I might as well say my peace." Chapter 5, Driven. It should be say my "piece" not "peace"! There are lots of mistakes that I have no time to mention here and It's really annoying.Also this story reminds me alot of Fifty Shades series. Specially with Colton and Christian from Fifty shades having similar f**ked up pasts. Both had addicted whore mothers and abusing whore men , both suffered from nightmares and have problems with others touching them in certain ways and places. Both think that they aren't capable of love or deserving it. When Rylee ask colton "who did this to you?" ( chapter 17, Driven) ,It reminds me of the same question Anna asked Christian in Fifty shades. Both Rylee and Anna from Fifty shades keep telling the Heroes that they are worthy of love. Anyways, I like novels that are strongly built and full of new and important events and suspense among it. Not to just leave every thing to be aolved at the end of the book.

I stumbled upon this series by chance, and boy am I beyond happy I did. Emotionally gripping, the Driven Series will leave you breathless and begging for more of this amazing duo. Rylie is amazing; her heart and spirit leave me in awe. Colton is the quintessential alpha male that will weaken you knees and melt your heart, all while infuriating you with his snark. A series I will read and recommend over and over again!

I agree with many people that at first Colton comes across as an arrogant arse, heâÂÂs the douchebag that we all have a secret crush on. But as his past is uncovered, his character development through the series is incredible.
